That other guy we let walk

To be fair, any of the Bears running backs would have done what he is currently doing if not more today. He isn't as good as Herbert or Johnson but he's getting a chance to play due to injuries and they went run heavy and screen heavy because of the D2 QB that is in.

Do you feel like Miles Sanders would be doing what he’s doing right now?

If he was in the Bears offense today? Probably. I don't think it's the end of the world letting Foreman walk. I wanted him back. But I get thinking Sanders would be an upgrade over Foreman. Chuba is better than Foreman. We just aren't putting people in positions to succeed.

We will have to disagree on that one. I don’t feel either Chuba or D’onta are significantly better than the other. But I know they’re better than Sanders. And I know both are cheaper.

Chuba is not better than Foreman. Foreman is being grossly misused in Chicago. All I heard about Sanders when we got him was how good a receiver out the backfield he will be and how Fireman was not. Sanders hasnt impressed me with anything what so ever at all. Foreman is worlds better to us and Chuba is worlds better than Sanders with us. It should have been a one two punch with Chuba and Foreman this season and Sanders should have been with another team. Is he even playing lately or is he out again anyhow?

Chuba is way more explosive than Foreman, and he's younger as well. The fact is that it was Hubbard that had the same average as Sanders which was better than Foreman's.

Chuba is better than Foreman, and that's why he had the better average.

How has Foreman been grossly misused in Chicago? lol

What he does well the other two guys in front of him do better. He was signed to be depth. And he was. Also, he just got hurt.

By not playing him that is how.

Other two guys looks decent ahead of him but he sure looks good today.

They are both better. Better pass catchers, better at blocking and better runners. They aren't sitting him for no reason. He was signed for cheap. He is not better than Johnson or Herbert.

    • Completely agreed.  TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it.  Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no.  Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo.  And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways…  the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back.  And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are.  I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes.  I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard.  So I always related to that.  And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man…  I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short.  You’re right, there will never be another Cam…  I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was.  Cam could run you over or around you.  That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.
    • It definitely needs more specificity than is baked in now.
    • The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me.  This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.
