Julius Peppers' agent says he hasn't heard from #Panthers and that "There’s no doubt in my mind. They’ve moved on."

@Adam_Schefter

Mounting evidence the Panthers will not tag DE Julius Peppers and he will test free agency. Panthers insist they've not reached a decision.

Hurney has to get himself out of this mess he made..plus a uncapped year..

How is this all Hurney's fault? Granted he paid Gross, Jake, & Gamble a little more than they should have, but I blame more on Pep or at least his agent with demanding more than we could afford. It like he put a handcuffs on the team. Not to mention Pep haven't made up his mind before he signed the tender & that why we gave away our 2010 Draft 1st round pick to get Brown. If Pep already made up his mind before the Draft last year, we might not gotten Brown then. Franchising him again will make it hard for us to get some players in FA & Drafts. I just don't know if we can afford that. :(

well- if you are not saying anything to Pep right now, you have him a little nervous I am sure.

With the effort this FO has made (and JR's love for the kid) I DONT SEE ANYWAY they just let him walk.

Thats STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPID

(or STUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPID for you PC guys)

waht does political correctness have to do with spelling?

    • When has ever having a Great tight end been short sighted?  Atlanta didn't need Pitts especially since he didn't look the best in his first 3 years.. yet and still franchise tagged despite having a great offense without Pitts. And let's not act like that's all he is he's more a hybrid than a tight end.. flex out wr kind of guy with 4.3 speed arguably the fastest time ever by a tight end. Add that with a 43 inch vertical and he's not only a take the top off he's a mismatch vs linebackers and a red zone threat. Like what are we talking about "just a tight end"
    • Not the next highest paid QB type money. Heck no! His inconsistent play is his biggest issue. His ability isn't as inconsistent as his mindset. Some games he's just out there dinking and dunking and completely ignoring anything over 20 yards. The statement I was responding to was he hasn't flashed in 50 games. That's just not true. When you throw for 450 yards in a game, but average under 200 yards, then that's absolutely a flash. He's shown that he can be productive. He just plays uber conservative some times. Game to game. Quarter to quarter. It's mind numbing some times.
