nah, i don't think aikman was over rated. he was a really good qb on a really good team. being a giants fan i always hated the cowboys. but i always give credit where credit is due. he was very accurate and i would have loved to have him in ny. i don't know if he is top 10, but top 15 for sure.

Depends.

Anybody who has him in their top ten, yes he is overrated. If their reasoning is because he won a lot of Super Bowls, a team accomplishment, yes he is overrated. But people who say he absolutely sucks and everything, then he is underrated.

alot....

anyway here's my top 10. its probably out of whack:

1. Joe Montanna

2. Johnny Unitas

3. Steve Young

4. Dan Marino

5. John Elway

6. Peyton Manning

7. Tom Brady

8. Dan Fouts

9. Kurt Warner

10. Jim Kelly

I always hated Troy Aikman along with his Dallas Cowboys. I don't see Kurt Warner as a top 10 QB. I'd put Brett Favre in there over him.

Peyton Manning at the top. No telling what this guys numbers are gonna look like by the time he retires. He's my number 1 by far.

there is no doubt in my mind he'll be 1 when hes over. im doing as it stands right now. i can't put him up there yet. he moves up a couple if he has a big day sunday

    • Yeah that's sad.  I couldn't believe it.
    • It would depend on how we lost... If we lose a bunch of 17-13 . 20-7 type games where the defense plays well and offensively Bryce is sh***TING the bed...then he wouldn't get fired.  If we are losing 40-9, 38-14 type games..then yeah it's a possibility.   Couple that with our tough schedule.. if we show well in lets say half those games.. win either Seattle or New England game, at least 1 win vs division oponents.. he's good.  So imo.. to get fired he needs to : Loose badly against the top tier teams ie Blown out Show no progress offensively from last year. Show an unwillingness to bench Bryce again if he is horrible over multiple games ..  Get swept by the Saints again.
    • I think he's gone, and rightfully so, if he turns in another losing record. The "talented roster," regardless of how true or not, is a double-edged sword. If the roster is so much improved now from 202X then why are you still producing losing seasons? On one hand, maybe that's what needs to happen. Have the GM hire the new coach, and then have the new coach pick his guy to run his system. That is typically how it works in the NFL. Not the forced inheritance deal we have had in place.
