If that's true, then the Saints will lose by 40. Manning has been sacked only 10x this year and some of those were voluntary (meaning he laid down rather than take the hit).

Both the Ravens and Jets went in planning to put allot of pressure on Manning with blitzes and both went home empty handed.

I also think it was an incredibly foolish mistake to announce that your going to try and knock down Manning as much as possible.... the refs will be bringing extra yellow flags to the game and will throw them early and often now that you have alerted them. With the admission that the high/low should have been flagged during the NFC championship game, the refs were already going to go into this game protecting the QB and now the Saints have given them even more reason to focus on that.

Everybody knows the Saints are going to bring it. They're going to blitz, and everyone knows it. This is far from "tipping their hat," or "showing their cards," or whatever trite sports cliche you want to throw out there.

I don't think you can blitz Manning's at this point in his career and win. Coverage might be the best way but really idk if that would even work.
