Bank of America Stadium # 9

There is a lot of weird poo on that list. Some parts seem like misapplied complaints from this board.

From the Browns stadium review:

What we didn’t like: The Atmosphere- “A less than ideal place to watch a game with average historical significance: a shiny, new toy where the old broken one once sat. The major problem is the stadium security taking fan complaints too far; stories of fans being told to sit because they are standing and cheering are a far cry from the original Dawg Pound that gave this rabid fanbase the reputation it deserves.”

Ray Jay:

What we didn’t like: The Fans- “Buccaneer fans are a strange lot. With Tampa Bay being a transient community (most residents were born in the Northeast or Midwest), some in the fan base have divided loyalty to the team and the old team they grew up watching.”

Also unexpected that they'd brag on our tailgating. I know some people on this board would vehemently deny this:

What we liked: The Neighborhood- “Tailgating is a must when you come to Charlotte; you can look across the parking lots and see people grilling, throwing the football and playing beer pong and the bean bag toss game.”

The closer you park, the more you pay. I paid $30 to park and I was on the back side of the stadium, and the walking distance was easy. They also have plenty of porta-potties and a large trash bin. I would definitely recommend tailgating, because everyone does it.

Whomever wrote this most likely tailgated with my group. You all are welcome.

The review is really just a matter of preference, and a matter of intended use and individual behavior.

Public transportation is great, if you intend to use it. If you come to tailgate, then you'd never notice the public transportation. Whether or not you drive from out of town is important.

In one review, he criticized a stadium because all you could see was "parking lots and trees". Seeing a parking lot up close means the access couldn't be better for tailgaters. Seeing a lot of trees is a problem why???

And what constitutes a well behaved fan? A quiet fan? An enthusiastic fan? A rowdy fan? A belligerent fan? A fan who stays win or lose? A fan who makes noise the whole time an opponents offense is on the field? A fan who only makes noise when its the opponents third down?

He said that Carolina fans were seen grilling and playing cornhole. Sounds like a Sunny day in Carolina. Think the experience would be the same on a rainy day?

Parking around BoA is all over the place. You've never know where you'll end up, and if you're not careful you can lost easily. The fans are separated from each other by roads, businesses, fences, etc.etc.etc. and yet we're great at tailgating. Maybe that means taht fans are doing a great job of tailgating privately, but I think its a hard case to make that its a true tailgate where hundreds of vehicles are lined up to create a long alley of tailgaters.

The review depends on a lot factors which change with each game, the weather, the opponent, the outcome fo the game, the time of the year, and the demographic of the reviewing fan. It is anything but objective.

It's a midwesterner's game. Alot of areas of the country haven't been invaded by Ohioans as much as this part.

all i know is i went to Texas and they were playing "washers"

aside from the obvious difference (throwing large washers instead of beanbags/cornbags) you have for wooden chair-shaped targets.

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
