I came in here with the intention of having some fun today and I see this. Man, I truly am sorry to hear this. Really does put things in perspective. He sounded like a good dude. Hatter you are right, bickering occurs on these types of forums, but everyone has a story. Pancreatic cancer is no joke; have had loved ones suffer from it. RIP.

Yep. I hand out my fair share of crap to people. But, it is all meant is sarcasm and fun. I have no ill will toward anyone.

FYI....Saints still suck and you are still a douche :D

Damn..... Damn.....

I battled cancer myself and know have hard that poo is. I now feel bad that I survived to see other people go down with this poo. Sorry Electro for not being there.

He seemed like a fantastic fella and I am so sorry to read this and even more sorry for family and friends my prayers are with you.

Just know that though I am sitting all the way over here in little Denmark my thoughts are with you all.

I browsed through this thread a couple of times and figured this was some sort of stupid Huddle humor (like he killed himself because the saints won or something).....Wow! This is terrible! I know he and I didnt reallly get along for the most part but I still cant help but feel awful about this news. Thoughts go out to his family for sure.

What I posted in The Lounge thread:

I never met him in person (still haven't been to a huddle tailgate yet after all these years, but hopefully will this one), but I always loved his posts. This sounds weird, but before the server had crashed after that ATL game last year and made us all "start over" with our accounts, me and 9Lives were friends and would constantly make jokes on the other's joke and such lol. I've calmed down a little bit on here the last few years though.

I didn't even know he had changed his name to electro until a couple months ago...

Regardless, he was a cool guy and he made some pretty amusing posts lol. Definitely sad to hear all this. And I agree about the news articles, how inconsiderate and classless can they be? This is a human life.

Regardless of the circumstance, a man lost his life. They've got to honor that, but instead they choose to cater to their commie, go-green, save the whales, a horse died audience because that's what's cool now. They have no idea what he was going through to reach that point of despair, so I doubt he would have allowed that to happen to those animals had he been in a stable frame of mind.

I don't want to share my views on what Clif did, but instead, I would like to pay my respects to him. Like I said, he was an awesome guy on here and a great poster. Wish I would've had the chance to meet him in person. And as others have said, if anyone on here is feeling low, let somebody know... I guarantee you someone will be there to help you up.

My prayers and thoughts go out to the family and friends.

RIP Clif, you will be missed. BTW, his 9Lives avatar was hall of fame status.

      For Bryce’s obvious shortcomings (bad pun), there is upside to his game. This isn’t being a homer or apologists, but I like to consider myself fair in criticism.  He’s far tougher than I ever thought he’d be. I really thought homie would have been broken in half by now. I don’t know how he’s not, but he’s not.  He is prone to turning the ball over early in games which digs a huge hole the team is not built to come back from, but dude DOES come up with crucial first down in crucial situations. It’s NEVER pretty, but he just kind of has the shining. He gets bailed out LOTS, and the team still loses games because of him, but he’s a bit of an enigma. He’s a turnover machine that is clutch in big moments.  He’s a smart/elusive cat. He kind of has to be with his limitations. His audibles are almost always correct and he understands coverages. I don’t see him getting fooled too frequently. His turnovers are almost never the ‘damnit Jake/Cam!’ brand we have been accustomed to. They are ALWAYS due to his size/strength limitations.  Strip sacks that shouldn’t be. Picks that happened because he just don’t got that NFL arm. He is still prone to panicking and the wheels can and do fall off at a much higher rate than his peers.  The team is winning on the backs of the defense, running game and special teams… but they’re winning, and unbelievably 1 game behind Tampa. As long as this is happening and Bryce doesn’t go full meltdown, Dave is going to keep him in. He is not getting pulled.

      This was a terrible podcast. A bunch of uninformed homers that had worse takes than the bottom 10% of the Huddle. I listened to a handful of podcasts this past offseason in search of new Panthers material since John Ellis doesn't do his pod anymore and The 4 Man Rush don't either. Immediately deleted it after the handful I listened to. Truly terrible.

      The NFC South was so bad it sent a team with a losing record to the Playoffs that year. Wilks had players playing hard at the end but let’s not act like that was a good season. That season hurts even more now that we see in hindsight how good our QB situation was. We just didn’t know it.
