a lot of people are over-exaggerating this and saying it was a dumb move, but let's be real for a recond:

1) He is pretty much the only consistently good thing on the Raiders offense, and was the leading scorer. The guy busted a 61 yard FG, his range is flat out ridiculous.

Well when you have one player that seem to score more than everyone else for the Raiders, that kinda make sense. Quite amusing the kicker is the only one to score more than their QB, RB, etc. for the team. :D

I still don't understand the hate. I'd pay the guy this much to have him here. He's the best kicker in the league, and only 30 years old, he's still got a good 10+ years since he's a kicker.

You guys wouldn't want a kicker who can crush a 55+ yarder accurately with no hesitation?
