No Trades allowed over the holidays

Apparently this is a real rule in the NHL. I don’t know the exact dates but I heard it in NHL Network. Perhaps why we haven’t made a goalie or goal scorer move yet.  Something coming in two weeks?

I really don’t think we are looking to trade for either spot. Not right now. Maybe at the deadline depending on Freddie’s health. 
 

It’s essentially a no movement except for extreme emergency call up situations that are called up for a game but sent back down. It’s so guys can have stability and know where they will be over the break so they can coordinate with their families, etc.

At least so far Pyotr looks like the answer in net. I’m curious what we will do on the back to back. I’m assuming Perets is going to get a shot. 
 

I do hope we are practicing shootout’s though. Pyotr needs work in that department.

We arent winning a Cup without a clutch goal scorer. If we dont add one, time to look towards next season.

I'm not blaming him for last night. We had 3 chances to score against Ned.

Neither am I. Just saying he needs to do his part too in the coming year. He will get better.

No way last night's game even goes to a shootout if the refs had whistled at least one of the pretty egregious penalties during the OT.
