I am not a huge Vick fan, however, he is much faster and more athletic than Moore and he is probably as good a passer as Moore right now. I think that Richardson should sell the team, Hurney should be fired and Fox demoted! Who in the hell tries to build a franchise with NO qbs?? Who the hell signs garbage Delhomme to a 4 year extension???? S-T-U-P-I-D!!!! :smash:

Vick has NEVER been an accurate passer.

Richardson will NOT sell the team.

Yes, Hurney should be fired.

No, Fox should not be demoted...he should be gone with Hurney.

Moore is a young guy with a strong end of last year. I trust him more than I would any QB taken in the draft.

MadHatter, I agree with you....Vick hasnt ever been an accurate passer but IMO I think that Moore is a good QB but not great. He had a strong end of the season last year but I question if he can do it for a full year. He is MUCH better than Delhomme. As far as Richardson not selling the team, I unfortunately agree there to, but he CANNOT run a great organization, so i guess all Panthers fans will have to settle for subpar till he dies off. lol

At some point Moore is going to ask himself "what the hell else do I need to do?" .

Instead of asking himself what he needs to do maybe he should ask Fox or Jake. The reason he hasn't started more than he has is his own fault. He is reported by various sources over the past year to not know the playbook, practice soft, be one of the first guys out of the locker room and not too involved in watching film or gameplanning.

He can obviously play the game, now he needs to be more of a football guy which translates to working harder in practice, watching more film, being one of the hardest working guys in the locker room and showing toughness, leadership and dedication. Most smart coaches and scouts will readily tell you that if your quarterback is not one of the hardest working most dedicated guys on the team, you have the wrong guy in there. Moore has the chance to be that guy. All he has to do is show up and work hard every day. If he doesn't, then he won't start and it is his own fault, no one elses.

On a side note to those posters who want Vick, Vick admits he didn't work hard in Atlanta and was slack. Given the above, why would we want a quarterback who admits to being slack and lazy. We need someone who can show Moore the right way to do it, not another laid back guy like Vick.

By unbelievably stupid do you mean b/c you disagree or are you still trying to google up facts to post up here to show me that he CAN run a successful organization. B/c as of today he cannot...that is unless you consider successful a good season followed by several subpar seasons.....

I wouldn't even talk that way about Al Davis, much less Jerry Richardson. It sounds ridiculously ignorant.

Mr. Scot.....I just want a solid answer, an answer based on facts, showing me how JR can run a great organization. What sounds ignorant is somebody defending something that does not give any reasons why! Are you still trying to google those facts??? I hope not b/c your not going to find them!

Nope. Not biting, because this little troll/alias account isn't worth the effort.

    • They can get film of all the games? Every team? Wow! Who knew… Our games with them are big examples of why they are in  the CB market so hard.   It is the study they do getting ready for the games.  Preparing to play against is a little different than just analyzing film in scout mode. Deeper dive. Then you are analyzing post game too.  This goes to why players often change teams but stay in the division. The opponents know each other on a higher level.  Plus if you lost to us, you used to get fired. Now you have to trade your first round pick. Moving up on the world.
    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
