I find it funny when people decide not to share "inside info", because they think they're taking something away from their source, or promised them they wouldn't talk about it. Who cares? Man up, tell us what you think will happen. No harm, no foul.

What's the upside of doing that though? Your source finds out you leaked the info, you don't get any further insights into the ongoings of the team from that source, and for what - so you can get some rep points from random huddle riff raff? Or if something falls through with the information you were given, you have to read 2911239210 Sam Mills Fans posts about it. Makes it a pretty easy choice for me.

If that were to happen, yes, it'd suck to lose your source. But telling us should have nothing to do with the retarded rep system, which is quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever seen. You should share it because people would like to hear the information.

What's the point in saying you know, but can't say? That's just as lame as that scrub who wanted us to go to some site and pay to find out what he knew.

Why share it here then, especially if your source is someone who shared it in confidence with you, and asked you not to say anything? I could see telling close friends, but why with people that you don't know? The only reason I can think of to do that is to get imaginary message board respect. Which is lame.

I don't know - ask the guy who posts those things.
