Rod Coleman & D-Will Rumors

First time poster but been a longtime follower of the huddle. Gotta give the huddle team props I really enjoy the site. With that being said, I'd like to also respectfully request that ya'll be easy on the new guy I'm not claiming to be preaching the gospel so here it goes. My brother-in-law was working at a restaurant in Concord Mills today and said Rod Coleman came in and ate. He waited on him and said the whole time he was on the phone talking business(negotians to be precise). When he called me I knew he played for ATL but didnt know much else so I googled him and what I could find said he was a free agent. Not comdeming or condoning the possability but he is a vet with good experience that could be had cheap considering he's on the downside of his carrer. To be honest he might have been talking to another team or just talking about something totally different. He!!, he might live here, I haven't a clue??? Also a good friend of mine and a fellow business owner also mentioned to me a trade rumor about Deangelo. I read the same rumor here last week on the MB. Cant remember who the poster was but he had said something about D-Will to San Diego for a first and Sproles. Well my buddy owns a restraurant of which a few players as well as their family members eat at on a regular basis. Needless to say a family member told him this was being discussed and that it was being seriously considered. He said they didn't seem like they were too excited about it, kind of mixed feelings on the situation. So too the posters credit he was giving everyone on the MB some credible info. I would hate the move personally. Vincent Jackson and 1st & 3rd I'd be all in. Nevertheless we havent had much news here and figured something was better than nothing. Sorry if I stirred the pot.

It's sad how many people are afraid to make threads or post in this MB because they will get berated til no end. So they post with a disclaimer, "Be easy on the new guy", or "Don't shoot the messenger".

yes lets have more threads about Delhomme and Peppers instead.

It's not really that bad.

There are examples - more than you might think - of guys whose first ever post or thread on here is logical, sensible and well-written (or at least readable). Those guys are generally accepted and become part of the forum.

On the other hand, you also have idiots who come on here just to write something utterly stupid and/or totally unfounded either to troll or to say "hey, everybody look at me; I know stuff". That, plus you get guys who like making multiple IDs either because they've been neg-repped to smack, or they're bored and don't have enough brain power to come up with any other way to amuse themselves, or because they just have a neurotic need for attention and they're not getting enough with their normal persona.

Those guys get clobbered, and honestly, I can't say I have a lot of sympathy for them.

Have you guys heard the rumors of us in negotiations with Shaquille O'Neal? apparently he's tired of being second fiddle in Cleveland and wants to switch sports and play WR for us. I heard this from a friend of a cousin's uncle's next door neighbor's long lost nephew who was kidnapped by aliens and shown the future, who now works at TGI Friday's Shaq likes to eat at in Cleveland. Also, he said look for Vermont to win the next 2 NCAA title's back to back and to take stock in PetRock as they will make a comeback in 2011.

    • Kyler murray signed a 5 year 230 million dollar deal after his 4rth season (2022) where he made the playoffs once in those 4 years and played abysmal   His average, including injuries for those 4 years are below: 66% 21tds 3500yards 92qbr   Fast forward to Nov 2025  https://www.si.com/nfl/kyler-murray-cardinals-parting-ways-likely-imminent?utm_source=firefox-newtab-en-us Hes owed roughly 50 and 40 million against the cap for the next 2 years.  fuging nuts, you are essentially tying your hands behind your back and trying to compete I could do Tua as well but you guys get the point.   In closing, please for the love of God Teppers please dont put this franchise in a blender by extending Bryce.
    • Sure we could use an edge rusher or two but the rookies are doing well for rookies. Saying edge rusher is as much of a need as QB is preposterous. We could need to bring back Everette Brown as a starting rusher and it still wouldn’t be as big a need as QB.
    • The way I look at it: pie: good point, I agree, general positive reaction  beer: cheers. Can be regarding a positive thing or negative. “Here’s to another year being held back by our QB play.” “Cheers” fire: a hot take I agree with, or a great point. Upgrade from pie.  eggplant: that gets me hard. Not you want to give that poster the D, but like if you’re someone who really appreciates good defense and someone posts a stat that our defense is top ten then you post the eggplant emoji
