All teams spend money. They are required to spend a certain amount, so overpaying for mediocre talent doesn’t really help him.  They are rolling with Kirk (who had under 800 yards and 3 TDs), Gabe Davis (under 800 and 7 TDs in a high powered Buffalo offense), and Zay Jones (300 yards and 2 TDs) in year 3 of his rookie year.  Their TE is solid but outside of that there isn’t much to brag about…

Most of those guys would have gotten within 10/15% of the contract jags handed them(maybe not crazy zay Jones...). Sure teams have to spend within cap rules, but where the jags did shows they are trying to help. 200 million on WR&TEs is better for Trevor than DL&DBs, you know this.  Kirk was injured some as well, the year before he had a breakout 1,100 and 8 TDs.

I admitted being a non-fan of each and super disagree with the contracts, but its on Trevor to play better than his current pace. The jags have masked his bad playing with their surprise wins. Many of the wins came with ugly QB play, but it was a weird year for the jags(each year some fluky team wins with bad QB play). With two years along side Doug Peterson, he's not gotten better either and that is Doug's specialty.

Why hasn't jags give him the bag?

Why doesn't Trevor sit out in protest?

he could given the fans feelings.....

If David Tepper cannot remove himself from all decisions this team can’t win.  Nicole has absolutely no business being involved either.  If this is not the case I would quit immediately if I were Dave Canalas.  Tell Tepper if you try to make a decision I quit

Trying to gather an understanding why you feel this is helpful. What would be the purpose of this since his football acumen has shown to be much lower than his business acumen?

So, he can raise his football acumen and become a better owner.  If you know any successful business owners, they tend to get involved.  If I paid $2.3 billion for a football club, I would certainly make some decisions and put my mark on it.  The fact that he wants to get better and has already shown he will admit his mistakes and retool quickly is a good sign.

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
