and my cousin played for Shelby before me and played in the 98 state game against Cummings and Willie Parker returned a kick off for a TD

I never played competitively against any pros, but have played catch with Rod Woodson at a BBQ. I used to date a girl whose parents were really close with Rod and his wife. VERY religious couple.

I played fb at New Bern High school in the 90's! Played against Crumpler my junior and senior year! He played at one of the Wilimington schools! I think New Hanover! Both schools in NC! New Bern 2007 state Champs!

Not that this is inline with the topic but I was stationed at MCAS Cherry Point in 1996-98. Havelock High School won the Baseball title that year (98).
