Hemp tastes more like smoking rope but it’s essentially the same chemicals when burned. But it’s legal and easy to get.

Good hemp flower whether it's CBD or CBG is indistinguishable from THC flower in look, taste, smell, etc. One just gets you high and the others don't.

“If you’re a trained officer who can testify yes, I know how to identify this stuff by sight and smell, that’s enough for probable cause to search somebody and that’s all you need to prove at trial either – the officer’s just word that this is marijuana,” said Phil Dixon, an attorney who now teaches at the University of North Carolina School of Government.

“From the perspective of people using hemp products, it certainly sets the standard that says you’re subject to search just for smelling like it. And whether it’s hemp or marijuana, that’s for the officer to investigate, and if they’re wrong about it, and charge you anyways, well you can prove the difference at trial,” Dixon told Channel 9′s Evan Donovan.

Hey Phil, you gonna pick up all those legal fees bills? Motherfuger acting like it's just no big deal to be wrongfully indicted and have to hire attorneys to go to court to defend yourself. This is akin to charging anyone with a white powdery substance for cocaine possession and telling them, "Well, you can just go to court and argue there."

There's a real simple solution to all this idiocy. A solution a lot of states have already approved.

Anyone with experience with vapes?  Never used one...  And looks like I will be up there next Friday !!

What type of vapes are you talking about? I don't smoke at all anymore but I don't use the prepackaged vapes either. It's all dry herb vaporizers for me these days.

I'd be very cautious leaving the rez with anything. The surrounding doughnut eaters will lose interest fast but decent chance it's still pretty too of mind.

You really think they are watching people come and go?  I was thinking of maybe getting a disposable vape...  Liquid I guess...  I'm just an old school burner from back in the day...  I dont know all the new stuff...

I know they were in states surrounding CO when we became the first to legalize and I know surrounding county officials were saying they were going to be. Do with that what you will.

I doubt it will be for long. The majority of total THC in marijuana is in the form of THCA. That's why it has to be "decarbed" meaning heated up to covert it from THCA to THC. That's why you have to smoke it or vape it or cook with it, etc. Just go eat a bud and you won't get high because that THC isn't in a bioavailable form. This new THCA flower has just been developed to have less than 0.3% of its total THC in the form of THC. For all intents and purposes it's "real weed". I expect that laws will evolve to address it. It's just another example that most of our laws are written by politicians who have a fundamental ignorance of the subjects they're trying to regulate.

    • Tanking in the NFL isn’t really a thing and anybody wanting to bring the rigged lottery to the NFL has an ulterior motive.
    • I understand where you're coming from, but we need another safety IMHO. Other positions, especially on defense, dont have ideal depth, but to me at least S is the one position we can't stand pat at even when thinking about the future
    • 100%. Nick Scott was awful last year. Like, even for a franchise that hasn't historically invested in that position, it stood out for how awful it was. If he sees meaningful snaps at S again we're cooked.  Maybe he has value for ST, but I certainly hope we can upgrade. Jordan Fuller, who was by all accounts an Evero guy, was almost as bad. Xavier Woods was bad, but not complete garbage. Still did not want him back. Those 3 guys seriously may have been the worst S group in the NFL. And they all were brought in, especially Fuller, as good fits for this system. Everyone knocks the defensive line, and they deserve a lot of blame, too, but so, so many times our safeties inability to tackle let 4-5 yard runs turn into 10+. And it happened over and over and over again if you watch the film. Honestly, Demani Richardson was the only S by the end of the year I remember making positive plays. I have no issue with Richardson being in the mix and/or competing to be a starter, but we still need another S desperately IMHO who has actually played meaningful snaps in the NFL. The only caveat/excuse for our secondary was the fact our pass rush was nonexistent for large stretches last year. Maybe that helps with coverage, but I dont see how that makes any of these guys better at tackling.  I know it somewhat feels like piling on at this point, but I feel 100% confident in saying this was the worst tackling team in franchise history. The 70ish yard pass play we gave up to Jamarr Chase where he ran through and past everyone in the secondary has to be up there in terms of most embarrassing plays I've ever seen. I can't imagine how embarrassed Kuechly must have been watching from the booth... I think bringing back Evero was a mistake, but for a team that has had nothing but change over the past 5 years, I'm willing to see this through. I definitely think we added significantly to the floor of this defense with the additions we made. I dont think Evero has any further excuses if he cant field a unit that can at least somewhat hold their own. Fixing the safety play is going to be a big part of that.
