Panthers signing UFL all-pro WR

Makes sense for the best players in the minor league to get a crack at the worst roster in the NFL.

Wouldn't be the first time we actually found a gem from a minor league.

Nothing wrong with additions like this, hope they work out.  We need bodies for camp either way.

@Dingo_ate_Babies, using the Special Olympics as the butt of a joke is not a good look for anyone.  Typically people who punch down, especially down on people who can't make a comeback, have something missing in their lives.  I'm not going to judge you, but the words aren't a good look for someone who is so successful in their personal life.

As far as working out two of the best WRs in the UFL, why the heck not!  Sometimes guys need some extra development.  Butler was a 2nd round pick who didn't pan out in the NFL.  But he looks better in the UFL.  Who knows, not going to hurt anyone to try them out and see what happens.

By all means, go for it and talk down the league that guy came from its all good. Its just funny to hear you laugh at someone else's accomplishments having zero yourself.

Life is about criticisms of course......And it can also be fun to laugh at those those on the other side as well who never did a thing minimize others accomplishments. Good day sir!

Very well said. I try not to poke fun at professional players although I belittled clausen just the other day.  It does happen and probably shouldn’t, especially to the degree it does.  To your point about 1% of high school players get college scholarships and less than 2% of those guys make it to the NFL(my stats may be off a bit. That is the definition of elite talent with a razor thin margin of acceptance and sustain.

    • Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!
    • Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.
    • I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
