Ditto....specifically a baseball GM for me.

My son is planning on going to school for Chemical Engineering but what he really wants to do is become a GM of a sports team (I had nothing to do with that, in fact he doesn't even know that is my dream job also).....the road to the top is a long and painful one but I am trying to nudge him towards following his dream instead of the comfortable path.

I'll never forget walking back to the dorm from a final exam, wondering if I could remember my name, brainfried, and hearing some dude walking the quad singing "If I only had a brain" at the top of his lungs.

I hadn't lost it THAT bad, but I could feel his pain.

Yeah, I guess that wasn't the right way to put it but you know what I mean....we went and talked to people from NC State and USC (South Carolina) about the engineering program and after I could tell something wasn't quite right ....that is when he told us what he really wanted to do but thought it was stupid so he didn't want to tell us.

He also said something about wanting to become a sportsbook odds maker in Vegas and his mom almost threw me and him out of the car.

I just remembered the job I'd really like to have.

Assistant to Sultan (ass inspector) and NC Biscuit (boob inspector). There is a lot of TNA out there and not even you two can handle it all yourselves.

I would also like to work in the craft beer industry. That one's pretty realistic, as I could write about beer right now, but I've also thought about opening up a bottle shop selling craft beer, wine and local chocolates, cheeses, etc.

I actually think Waxhaw would be a nice place for such a shop.

A dream, because I know I have the brain, I lack the intestinal and physical fortitude.

It annoys me that I know it, and can't do it.

Oh well, healin' for money is a sweet gig too.
