Will Legette be “red shirted” this year?

And it was a bit behind him, too. He should've caught it, but it was behind him a bit. If Young threw it, I doubt it'd be considered a drop on here. Probably a bad throw.

If you go look at the thread showing the all 22 of his routes you will see why he didn’t get any catches. The Plummer throw and one other on opening drive (the catch by Thielen) he was even open to catch a pass.

927 yards and 3 td's on 49 catches his first year rookie is a jag? That's like the numbers average of DJ Moores first 3 years with way less receptions lol.

Yes, those were good numbers, but nowhere near what they were after his rookie year. Was just saying, even arguably the best receiver ever had to adapt, adjust and learn during his rookie year. We're talking maybe the best ever. Lets just give Legette time, let him adjust. He may not put up 927 yards on 49 catches. Or maybe he surprises, catches on and explodes after a bit of time this year. Lets just be patient and see. This guys has all the makings of a big time playmaker.

And in a completely different era of the NFL where hitting 1000 years was a big deal and offenses did not pass nearly as much.

Jag was the wrong word to use. I'm fresh out of spinal surgery, so was a big foggy when I wrote that. Guess what I was saying was that Rice was expected to be all pro level his rookie year. He even admitted that he really struggled his rookie year, but yeah, the signs were there and decent numbers. All we can hope for is the same with Legette... and who knows, maybe at some point in the season it happens. Guy has the goods, we've seen it. Lets see if it manifests.

    • FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.
    • That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?
    • Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
