Best place to get Panthers stuff...

Heading to Charlotte this Saturday. What is the best place to get a good deal on Panthers stuff? Looking for a jacket, maybe another jersey -- not sure. I went to the team's online store and everything seems kind of expensive. For insance, they wanted $80 for this one jacket and the same jacket at another store was $20 less -- though I'm trying to save a few bucks on shipping.

Do you guys have like a Dick's Sporting Goods store there with a big selection? I'm sure the prices are about the same everywhere but they have to be their highest at the stadium -- I'd imagine.

All I have is everything Redskins & Ravens. Gets old but it is what it is.

Carolina Place Mall in Pineville has 3 or 4 solid sporting goods places.

Concord Mills and SouthPark have Dicks.

But if you are uptown, go to The Plaza. It's across the street from Epicentere and there is an overhead walk way. Tucked away is a mini Belks. One small section of Panthers stuff that is always on sale.

This makes me think you'll be coming down I-85. If so, stop at Concord Mills mall(It's just like Arundel Mills in Hanover), it's right off the highway and has several sporting goods stores with jerseys and such.

I drove up to Charlotte for a few hours last week and didn't have time to hit Southpark or Carolina Place. In the University area, the Wal-Mart and Sam's Club had merch, as did Kohl's. Didn't bother to check Dick's. Concord Mills' Reebok store was completely out, but there was a sports memorabilia store that had stuff in stock. The Sports Authority across the street from Concord Mills had all NFL merch at 50% off (got a great deal on sideline polos for $15), but their selection was dropping fast. Target can be hit-or-miss as to whether they'll have team gear or not, depending on your city.

Fan-attics in Carolina Place/Pineville always has lots of Panther gear but I haven't been there since right before Christmas....I'm sure alot of stuff has been picked over by now and if the Panthers win on Saturday you might as well forget about Panther merchandise for awhile. :willy_nilly:

    • Unfortunately you just can't get through to some of these folks. The most successful season in Panthers history our #1 WR was Ted Ginn Jr who had just as many bone headed drops as he did highlight touchdowns. We already have the highest paid OL in the league two years running. We need a balanced roster more than anything else clearly.

I think it would be like getting two for the price of one really allowing us to feel more holes getting a wide receiver and another spot filled for nothing but two or three draft spots.
    • I saw a mock draft where Monroe Freeling falls to the Panthers at 19 and if that happens they'd better rush their card to the podium.
