They bring up the trades.

They state turning down the Rams' offer for Burns should have gotten someone fired because that's not the kind of offer you turn down for any player that's not a franchise QB.

Talk about how the team was stripped of talent.

Say Young never had a chance due to the decisions made and lack of talent.

Says there's no plan.

Say this is very old Jets like.

About 9 minutes in they start talking about other games and teams.

I listened and my issue with that take is that there was no good plan last year when option A went up in smoke, true. This year they built a line and brought more talent in at WR. It's not really true anymore. It's a cope out. The worst hit he took on Sunday was 100% his fault and choice. The oline all did well. The WRs were open. They could lean into the coaching a bit but damn that doesn't void the other 2 things. It's a take I have seen a bunch today, harping on last year's truths but not what we have seen this year.

The rest was spot on.

    • It really is an unfortunate chain of events for him, I mean he was what, weeks away from a new deal
    • Past history says he won't ever play LT again and teams won't have any post surgery film of him to make an evaluation.  It is possible that he can play at the end of '26 season but we may not let him and surely not let him play LT so we would have inside information on the injury and recovery that other teams don't.  It is a fluid interesting situation for sure.
    • I think it all depends on the level of healthy. He's going to need to play some sort of prove it contract before he gets a big LT payday. If he is fully healthy I expect someone will offer him a contract as a tackle, but it won't be the top 5 contact we were expecting to pay if he hadn't gotten hurt.
