Auburn literally could've had 20+ fouls in that half. Hate playing teams like this. They picked up 5-6 quick ones then like always happens the refs start to get whistle shy not wanting to call a foul every possession and they start getting away with murder. The way they call the games encourages this type of play. If they keep fouling just keep calling it.

Yeah, I noticed at Duke last night all three of their post players had two fouls in the first half. Start of 2nd Broome gets his 3rd on a reach and at the 8 minute mark, their PG has four! In the Kansas/Duke game, Kansas got something like four fouls in a row and their crowd started booing. Bilas said I know they don't want to keep getting these foul calls, so quit fouling. Oh how I wish we could've got some of that love in Maui. That has always been a difference between us and Duke. If you spend 50% of dead balls and other team's timeouts in the refs' ears, it obviously makes a difference in how the game is called. EC and RJ have been beat to death over the last three games and last night they quit. It is easy to say that they need to be tougher physically and mentally, but something has to change.

My only gripes with Hubert at this point is he waited way too long to appeal to the people with money about NIL backing, he needs to press way more with this depth, and he has to give James Brown some minutes. The kid is 6'10" and went toe to toe with Flagg in high school. I know he ended up dropping forty something spots in the rankings, but he is here now and seems to be our only big man with a motor.

I know it's early in the season, but this is the worst UNC team I've seen in a long time.

We unwittingly dodged such a massive bullet when we ran out of gas and let KU comeback in that championship game. If Hubert had a title under his belt he'd probably be untouchable for at least a couple more years. But he doesn't.

    • Rozeboom needs to get better before he's a JAG.
    • The successful teams in the NFL right now have one thing in common: Patience. Not just with their QB, but with every facet of the program. There are going to be successes and failures, but no one panics and makes reactive decisions. Look at the Eagles, the Bills, the Ravens, the Packers, and hell, even the (newly successful) Lions. All of them showed patience with their QB's growth, let their coaches do their jobs, have drafted well, developed their own players, and plugged holes in their roster and organization with players and situations that made sense. That's what we need. And if that isn't what we have now, we need to make moves to get it there. If that means they need to blow it up to start over, then blow it up and start it over the right way. If that means to change their approach from top to bottom, change it now. But the blueprint of success is out there in the league, teams just think they know better, or they don't have the discipline to follow through.
    • X was drafted too early, needs refinement and is playing out of position. We knew this. What's the issue? Personally, I think he will be fine. Just needs more time.
