Windows 7

Definitely. I actually still like Windows XP. I got a Macbook Pro solely for the intention of recording my music, but I really liked it. So when it was time to get a computer for college, I just went with another Mac. Haven't had a single problem with either for 4 years, and they get a lot of use.

But like I said, I really like Windows 7. The parents just got a new computer, and it's really easy to use. I can't argue that Mac is better than PC, it's just better for me.

Yeah, we've actually even looked at Mac's for doing some of the photoshop work we do, and the specs are impressive but the hardware is so damn expensive compared to Windows PC's it's just not worth it to have Mac's just for that one piece of software.

I have a bootleg version of Windows 7 Ultimate. Its been good to me so far.

I had Vista set up kinda like how 7 is out of the box so there hasn't been much of a difference. The start up time is a little faster and the taskbar is improved. The only thing I'm not digging is that I can't figure out how to save my downloaded files where I want to save them.

I get error messages saying I don't have access to the folder I created years ago. I've gone through the process of taking ownership about 35 times with no luck.

I'll agree with your opinion... it depends on what you're used to. I hate Vista as well, and we still run XP on 100% of our machines here at the office (like 25 PC's). I doubt we'll upgrade any of them any time soon. Our main software so far only runs on XP. A lot of people talk sh*t about Windows, but if you have the right configuration and run it safely (keep the viruses off) it's great.

My main workstation was custom-built in 2003 and I have only added hard disk space and upgraded the DVD writer. It is no where near as fast as some of our newer computers, but it's solid as a rock.

Anyone who talks sh*t about windows now really has no clue what they are talking about. Windows 7 is the best operating system ever. And there really is nothing wrong with Vista either, it just takes alot of memory. And XP i think is the 2nd best OS ever. Microsoft really has been hitting home runs with their operating systems lately.

I'll admit that Mac is probably more expensive than it's worth. I have just had problems with PC's in the past, and have never had a problem with either of my Macs.
