That fact that any of these guys are starting or contributing significant time in rotation speaks to the overall lack of talent on this team. The record speaks for itself. Be thankful that any of them show anything resembling nfl level skills out there. This team needs a lot more talent to start winning games.

Very true. Our overall talent, especially depth is awful because our drafting since 2018 has been atrocious. Most of the rare good players have been traded.

It’s why we get posts about how good Mays is at C until he gets ragdolled by Dallas. It’s been nice to see us be competitive but we’ve only beaten a 3 win Oakland, 2 win Giants, 5 win Saints and an underachieving Cardinals team we always seem to beat (Murray looked like he gave up in the 4th).

Yes, we put up a fight against KC and Philly, but everyone has been playing close with those two.

We need to start winning drafts. Sorry to the OP, but saying Brooks showed us why we drafted him in what 12 touches for 45 yards? Seems to me he showed us why it was a mistake to draft him after another ACL after only 12 touches. We had a terrible draft yet again and that has to change. We can’t keep taking risks like we do with every single pick.

That's because the Bears have already played this week and lost. If we lose this week we'd at the minimum swap back to 7. If we win this week we'd drop down to 9.

As long as we get Graham or Tmac I will be a happy man.

Not sure Graham will be available tho unless we move up a few more spots. I think as good as Tmac has been I don't think there will be a team who takes him in the top 5. Graham is probably the next best defensive player after Hunter so he could easily go top 5.

Make sure to cheer for Titans and Raiders. If they win at Jacksonville our record would be tied (assuming we lose) and they've had the harder SOS so we'd move up to 6. Raiders win at New Orleans would also move us up aswell.

    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
    • Dude you are smart fan. 3 on 0 breakaways won’t matter who is in net. You gotta be better on this one.
    • Raiders are gonna get a good one. Rather have Mendoza fly out and play for the Panthers tomorrow than Bryce
