Some you'll definitely get or increase sponsorship from are the major airlines, Charlotte International Airport, and the private prison industry, makers of license plates, lol.

"Bobcats" doesn't scream corporate sponsors.

"Flight" on the other hand.

This would be a shrewd business move. If the Bobcats don't win the NBA Championship, there's really no need to keep the name.

It'd be bad to win the NBA Championship as the "Bobcats" and then change to another name that hasn't won one.
