Same thing every year. When is the next NFL 2k coming out? I'd even take a new NFL Street sequel at this point.

Actually they're rebuilding the game engine from the ground up, this year there will be locomotion physics and two-stick running controls (for much more control over juking, etc)

The curse goes back to 99 but here are some of the recent results of the "Madden Curse".

02 Daunte Culpepper -- injuries galore, hasnt been the same since his days with the vikings

03 Marhsall Faulk -- numbers greatly declined after gracing the cover, no 1000 yard season since, knee injury

04 Michael Vick -- broke leg the following year... need i say more?

05 Ray Lewis -- even the immortal ray lewis suffered a wrist injury the following year and missed a week of playing time

06 Donovan McNabb -- when was the last time this guy stayed healthy for a full season???

07 Shaun Alexander -- broken foot in 08

08 Vince Young -- knee injury the following year, lost starting job to kerry collis

09 Brett Farve -- Many thought the Farve would break the curse but he played through the pain of a bicep tear and his numbers reflected it

10 Troy Palomalu, Larry Fitzgerald -- there is no way lightning could strike twice right? Wrong, Palomalu missed significant playing time early in the season and the Fitz man limped off the field and missed the rest of MNF vs the 49ers

go check out the official madden website...its all NO saint based...there having a "madden gras" competition now, and the background shows brees and who dat and all that poo. i was dissapointed last year with the theme. they based madden 10 around the steelers and cardinals from the previous superbowl, and if they base the entire theme of who dat and the fuging saints, im gonna sell the game. ive bought since 04, and have stood by there side. but poo. i cant wait for 2k

      Carolina Way is gone, it went out the window with the Belichick hiring. They'll hire the best coach they can, ignoring everything else if possible.    Athletic reports that the school's top two targets are Tommy Lloyd and Billy Donovan. They don't care the buyout for a coach either, they and the boosters are willing to spend and will be going outside of the coaching family tree 100%.

      I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
