Final look at the composite NFC South Draft

What would you want them to improve on then?

They picked a bunch of players that are solid but not spectacular. Guys that may be able to come in and start in a few years and be good depth until then.

They could of used some help on the DL. Especially at DE. Thier LB corps is somewhat suspect and could use some depth.

They didn't have a bad draft but I just don't believe they had a great draft. With the amount of talent out there it seems like they settled on some of thier picks.

Most of their picks are based on the players potential. Jimmy Graham doesn't have to come in and play right away, but in a year or two he could be the next Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzalez. Charles Brown will probably be replacing Jammal Brown sooner rather than later, he was projected to be a first round pick and getting him at the bottom of the second was too good value to pass up.

New Orleans did lose fujita it LB and all the saints fan ik were pissed that new orleans passed up on Sergio Kindle. They felt like a few picks could have been on LB's. They also wanted more help on D-line. Al woods under produced greatly here at LSU. I personally think he wasn't very good here to be drafted so high and be such a big recruit.

I think the Saints FO is really high on last year's UDFA Jonathan Casillas and JoLonn Dunbar. And between you and me, I was hoping for Cam Thomas, but I guess they wanted to please the LSU homers

My big question is why did the Bucs take Price when they just picked up Roy Miller last year. Personally, I think Miller can be a very nice starter. So after the McCoy pick, all they needed was a rotational guy they could have picked up later in the draft. Not that I'm complaining, since I'd rather they make a redundant pick that high than get a playmaker that filled a need, but it just seemed like a wasted opportunity to me.

I was thinking the same thing. Miller next to McCoy would have been good, and they should've picked the best DE left & placed him next to McCoy
