I know nothing about college players don't watch college ball much, but I saw him play one time and said he's a going to be a good pro. I have noting really but a gut feeling to go by on this, but when I get that feeling it's usually right.

I said teh same thing about D.Will and knew nothing about him till the draft.

But like I said it's just a feeling.

Pike's decent IMO. I actually think this will be our best trio of QB's. In a couple years when they all get a bit more polished, we should have a pretty good squad at that position.

IMO he was the best player left on the board and we absolutely could not pass on him, either a good insurance policy or def. trade bait in the future a la Cassell in NE!

Pike is going to have to learn how to play under center. That could take 2-3 years. He has the size and the physical tools to become a really good to possibly elite QB.

Hopefully in 2-3 years he will be some good trade bait. IMO Pike is as good as McCoy.

I honestly hope we trade Clausen and build him up kinda like Cassel because I know Pike is better, Pike knows how to win games where as Clausen does not and we do not want a losing qb, hell Jake knew how to win games but it was sloppy and we lost more because of his poor throwing ability and poor ability to read a defense
