PFF: 10 highest-graded UDFAs from the 2024 NFL regular season

I hear the Panthers are looking for a #1.  I just do not see that player being available.  TMc in the draft is the best option.  Trading picks or players is not.  We need so much more than WR.  I think the thing to do is to work XL's ass off this offseason, keep Coker developing, and know that Theilen is coming back.  Draft a solid WR, sign a solid WR.  I just think the way Coker is developing and the raw skills XL has, we could be better off developing our current rookies and bringing in other WRs.  Save the $25m---that is just me.  We need multiple safeties, defensive linemen, a CB or two, OL, backup QB, RB, TE, Edge, LB, etc.

Coker was 21st in the NFL in y/r and 10th in yards per target - ahead of McConkey and all other rookies (of course volume will tend to drag that down). AT was 17th I think too.

I'm excited to see Coker's development. Hopefully he, XL, and Sanders take a big leap this offseason.

I'd be happy getting another Coker-like player or another Thielen. We had too many drives killed or touchdowns left off the board because our receivers couldn't do their jobs. I understand wanting explosion, but we really need to work on efficiency. Anything to hold the ball longer, so that our defense plays less snaps.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
