It doesn't make a lot of sense to be slimming down to 296 and then just do the bench at the combine. Then bulk up to 306 for the Pro Day and also barely do anything.

I am guessing he is comfortable standing pat on his film, which suggests that he either has a basic range he has been guaranteed to go or he is flat out hiding some suspect athleticism.

He certainly doesn't look very athletic but you can't always tell by that.

Yep, this has gotten very odd. I mean not to rail on the guy or nothing, but did people see him at the combine??

I mean Stacy dales is 6'0, but is she also 230 LBs?? He was a monster in film many times, but the eye test here is down right puzzling- Thats the smallest 6'4 296 person Ive seen. I maybe fooled by camera angle, but geez, he looks like a LS......

Plus has any other OLmen or DLmen lost 25-35 LBs ?? I think shemar lost weight, but he showed up looking like a Greek god and had insane measurables.

Plus sure others are not doing drills, but Graham didn't do nothing drill wise. He is only guy I know of that "lost" 25-35 LBs and now gained back 10. I did learn he said his heel is injuries for the main excuse. (???)

It's super sus. That PED rumor maybe legit.

Nah, as I stated in the other forum he just looks like he wasn't in the best shape and was toting around a healthy chunk of bad weight when you look at 2024 pics.

I suspect PEDS very, very, VERY much less than perhaps this dude is not really doing what it takes in terms of diet/nutrition/workouts/etc.

And, if that were actually true, that is a concern by itself.

Also have to gauge if he is a guy that wants to be a physical specimen at the next level. If so, he could be an unstoppable force if you get him on the right track.

Overall, I don't think the speculation is any big reason to worry.

Again, odd answer by him. When teams asked how or why he lost the weight, " I hurt my ankle/heel and it prevented me from working out". So he was resting and letting his heel "heal". In that process he lost 25 LBs, any other DT have that happen??

Lots of gym rats take gas and look fat, that's one of the side effects water retention. A few of them are former wrestlers just like graham.

I mean....seriously, at his weight and body type dropping 25 lbs is not a huge deal. It's discipline.

    • If we don't go OT, we will regret it.  What bothers me?  Are we going to get a starting-caliber OT at 19?  I think the draft is solid at OT, and the more I read up and watch video, the more I watch Lomu, the more I want him.   I see Freeling as a RT who needs some work in run blocking (since we need to run first, maybe not a good fit) and I see Proctor ending up as a Guard.  After Lomu (assuming Mouigia and fanu are gone), I think we wait until round 2.  In round 2, there are about 3-4 I like (Zuhn--good pass blocker and VERY underrated right now; Tiernan is a very good pass blocker as is Miller from Clemson, but both are not good in the run game.  Max Ixxxxx from Ariz St is impressive too---technically, there is not a of difference in these second tier guys--good in pass pro, need work in the run game.   If we wait until round 2 for an OT, we probably need to sign Nijman and start him early.   I almost think this is what we should do if Lomu is gone.  There is a big dropoff after him, imo, and I think we'd get better value if a stud ILB or edge is there.  Someone like TJ Parker Clemson makes sense. If Lomu is gone, trading back might be the play.
    • And what is x gunna help with except show him what not to do. Plus for the first year and a half he was just an obstacle
    • I understand that some people want WR. I am solidly against using yet another high pick there. Coker is pretty good and we used No picks on him.  What I think we really need at WR is a little bit of a Smitty lite. It is ridiculous to say let’s get a Smitty because you just can’t do that, but someone not tall and long striding but more in his mold. I think we’d have a pretty well rounded group.    Looking at tackle, with replacing Moton looming, it just seems like the no brainer.  You fill in Icky short term. Depending on how he recovers, and how the new guy plays, you go from there. A tackle at 19 is most likely either a LOT, a ROT, or a big talented guard, at worst. We will need all three in the next couple of years.  I would love to have a stud ILB be there at 19 but the OL is the responsible thing to do I believe.
