I know this is nit picking (regarding leadership)

I know, it doesn't mean much at all.

But every year at the beginning of mini camp you could count on two things.

1. Many players dragging ass on the way up the hill.

2. Jake hustling past them, and watching the dragging ass players start running.

Didn't see that this time. Many players dragging ass. No one ran by them. They kept walking.

Yeah, its a tiny little thing, but to me it says a bit.

I wouldn't call that nit picking at all, that is a serious problem. Someone needs to step into the leadership role big time.

however, not having the leaders at the mini camp could prove opportunity for some other guys to step up and show a willingness to lead... which is likely. If that fails, then when the vets we do have participate they'll take on the mantle.

Zod just started a pro-Jake thread.

Hell just called, they want to know why it's snowing.

    • Maybe the 3rd,Gano had made 63 and 58(or 59).
    • Not really sure I’d say we had “constant success” on the ground either. Take away Dalton’s kneel down and Bryce’s scrambles and we had 103 yards on 27 carries. Not garbage, but not constant success to where it wouldn’t have been reasonable to let your QB try and gain some confidence by throwing it a bit more, or even just further down the field. I’m happy we won, but just frustrated in that we somehow didn’t even look that great in a 30-0 win because it was largely due to the Falcons ineptitude and bad mistakes. We only had 2 drives all game of over 30 yards, the 61 yard opening TD drive and a 48 yard drive for a FG.  So it’s not like our offense was some well oiled machine that couldn’t have been trying to throw and push it downfield more.
    • BY is Pathetic. With a good QB and better middle linebackers,  we could be a playoff bound team.
