I might drive back tomorrow just for the donuts lol

I'll buy 'em and ship for a fee... but I doubt they're as good not directly from the source.

We had some Friday night and watched the fireworks, which they are apparently doing every Friday night thru the summer. Nothing like fireworks, getting bitten by sand gnats and 'people watching' the rednecks.

Some culinary experts think that gourmet donuts are going to be the next wave in food trends. I really, really would like to see that.

And if you ever come up to the DC area, hit up the Fractured Pprune. I got hooked on the stuff in College Park before they closed that location down. Thank God, or I would weight easily 300 lbs. Their donuts contain the most fattening, artery-clogging, heart-stopping, stroke-inducing leaving you on the floor in a spastic palsy after one bite ingredients that a substance can contain and still technically be considered a food.

They're real good though.

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
