There's nothing like the peace of mind you get after you're checked out, then you know if there's anything wrong with you or not, instead of worrying about it. I had a scare 5 years ago, spent 2 days in the hospital, got a catheterization, found out all is well, and now can carry on with my bad habits....

Do a food challenge as well Jase. Take stuff out of your diet, work them back in to see if there is a change.

You will be fine man.

This is a good one as well

Found out I was anemic due to this (later confirmed by doctor).

Come to think of it now that i run a few times a week and eat steak 3 times a week i feel pretty damn good

Steak is one of the first things I was told to cut out. Well, I can have sirloin maybe once a month or so. No more ribeyes or porterhouses. :frown5:

YEah I know sunbunny

It's a double edged for me as i need iron and a rare steak is the best for me.

And i love a damn ribeye but I try to do the super small filet as much as possible.

  • 4 months later...

Anybody get them? If so what caused them?

I've had them on an occasional basis for a while, but in the last week they have gotten much more frequent.

I've heard they often have benign causes, especially in young, relatively fit people like me.

It's getting to the point where I'm going to need to see the doctor. Am I about to die?

I've been having them a LOT too. I finally went to the doctor. They did an EKG and they showed up as well as pac's. They are sending me to a cardiologist. I thought about this thread and thought I would mention to you to go see your doctor if you are still having them a lot.

weird...I had been having them alot too lately....almost feel like I'm having an anxiety attack sometimes.

Forced myself to up the activity level, I'm typically very lazy, and been pounding the water hard...seems to be helping lately.

I haven't had them in a few years, but about 3 years ago, a few weeks before xmas I had a few in a row. I forget exactly what I was doing other than playing on the comp, but I had been drinking and something else, I was just sitting there and had 3 back to back. Scared the shizz out of me at the time, but I haven't had one since that I can recall.

    • I would tend to agree about not falling into the trap and paying a below average QB, but sometimes situations can “force” a team to pay that QB. For example, if we play ourselves into a 9-8 like record, then what options will we have in the draft? Or do we avoid the draft and trade for or sign someone in free agency?  I’m not convinced by the 2026 QB draft class. There’s some intriguing prospects but no one that really screams “draft me”. I’m not sure we’ve got anyone really that stands out as a trade candidate or free agent signing. So although we might not want to commit a big money contract to Young, him playing well and showing progress might force the team’s hand.
    • Realistically we would be looking at no more than a mid round pick for Dowdle or Chuba. Are we really that desperate for a mid round pick? Not really. I would much prefer us utilise the two RBs in a 1-2 punch similar to how we used D-Will and Stewart. After all, Bryce is not Drew Brees. He won’t throw for 300+ yards and carry the team consistently as a passer. So having a strong running game with a 1-2 punch will be beneficial to him, and it will also be beneficial to the RBs because we can spell them and not overwork them.
    • The Jets and Bill's are statistically worse
