At the time the tender was assigned to him, he was recovering well. A one year tender is not a waste of money. But right now, everything coming from you is a waste of time an effort.

Whether you agree with it or not, Davis had already earned well more than the money he has already gotten, and will continue to get from the Panthers this year.

It almost seems like today's athletes are too prepared. Too strong. I really don't remember the overweight drunk players getting hurt so early in the year....or maybe the Panthers are just cursed.

At TD's age he will recover from this and move on. Maybe it won't be with us but we stuck with Jenkins for 2 years on IR so we might. There are guys who have recovered from multiple ACL surgeries and come back. It isn't like he had a history of injuries before last year. We will also be able to replace him like we did last year. The problem isn't one player get injured but injuries at key positions or where we have little depth.

People kept giving me crap when I worried about Davis coming back and returning to form after injury. I would have been glad to be worrying for no reason but we have had our shares of injuries in the past 3 years. Hopefully Irvin and Louis don't follow suit. We can't absorb too many of these things as inexperienced as we are on defense this year.
