Anyone have a Blu Ray Player?

There are other alternatives, but the PS3 is actually a really good blue ray player.

Here are some reviews for some players. Me personally I'd go with a PS3.

Really one of the biggest draw backs to using the PS3 as a BD player is the fact that there aren't very many Universal remotes that work with it and the ones that do cost quite a bit of change.

if your positive your not going to play games then to save some money for movies or what not I'd go with either

Samsung bd-c6500

or Sony's bdp-s570

See I already have an Xbox 360 and a Wii. So it is going to be tough to convince the wife that we need another gaming system.

If your needing to convince her, just go to a place that has the Samsung 3d bdp and say see it's around the same price plus it game play games......or you can do what I did and not mention the game part at all.....

If she won't go for it, the other two options I listed are great players as well. Most of the really good players are going to run 180/190 - 250 for the most part.

    • Predictions from the Observer writers  i am sad   I wish the Panthers had one, just one, game changing hero on their roster …one player that isnt ok with losing …there aren't any Steves,, Lukes,  Cams, Thomas’ on this roster    When  a team has a roster and there isn't one jersey that sells, there arent any heroes if there are, today is a good day to show up   From the Oberser  Fowler: Packers 30, Panthers 20. Carolina will hang around for a while for this one, but the Packers — a legitimate Super Bowl threat — have just too much firepower. Kaye: Packers 31, Panthers 20. Green Bay feels like one of the true Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. The Packers’ offense is dynamic and the defense continues to improve. With a banged up O-line and an unpredictable defense, I’m not sure it matters who is at QB for the Panthers on Sunday. The Packers should win at home in convincing fashion. Zietlow: Packers 35, Panthers 28. I predicted last week that the Bills would win in lopsided fashion. They were coming off a two-game losing streak followed by a bye. The Panthers, conversely, were due for a regression after three great weeks. This week, after refocusing, I think the Panthers will put up a strong performance. I also think Rico Dowdle will get the majority of the carries and that the defense will play much better against the run. The Packers will still win, but the Panthers will leave Lambeau with their heads held high.
