Vick's co-defendent shot @ Vick's Bday party

Im late to this thread but Ive noticed a trend. When Vick does something positive or is the news for something good (like wanting to play in our city and for our franchise) the Vick filter comes on and we're STRONGLY discouraged from speaking on him. But the second his name is associated with trouble or something negative its OK to talk about him and some of yall are more than willing to stand on a soap box. Why is that? And then yall get mad at me when I say some of yall hate black quarterbacks more than you love the game of football.

Yes...We are all animals.... But if you think your dogs life is just as important as your brother, child or a random stranger. There is clearly something wrong with you.

Then there is something clearly wrong with me, because I value my dogs life 1,000,000x more than yours. In fact, if I was commuting to work and saw you trapped in a burning car, the only thought I'd give you is being pissed off that you were causing a traffic jam and making me late.

If you want to melt your GI Joe's with a magnifying glass, that's your perogotive, but saying that dogs are property to be treated however the owner pleases is just wrong and misguided. Dogs have feelings. They know fear. They have basically unconditional love and loyalty.

I've met MANY people in my life that deserved to get the poo beat out of them, myself included. Haven't met too many dogs that got beat up and I said to myself, "Meh, that dog had it coming."

Because you often act like Michael Vick is the only black quarterback in football, and disliking him is equivalent to hating black QBs. That makes about as much sense as saying dislike of Jake Delhomme equals hating white QBs.

I'll break down some of the guys playing right now, but in a separate thread.

I just skimmed over this thread but this is what I took away...

Lmao.

All in all, you have to wonder if we're just a very advanced form of cancer.

We're a virus, constantly evolving to keep ourselves alive while draining our host of resources! RAWRR.

Dogs? They don't do anything bad (unless coerced to.. by humans.) It's very depressing that they'd probably still love their owners unconditionally even when treated the way Vick and his cohorts treated theirs.

THAT ONLY PROVES THEY ARE WEAK! WEAAAAK!

Dockery....Where's the speech to these silly people?

I'm off the clock right now.

    • Not in same league. Caldwell just hit a 10.00 on the RAS. 2nd out of 3830 from 1987 onward.  https://x.com/MathBomb/status/2027885023387349047 Yeah I mean Louis had a sub 9.00 RAS. Still very very good, no doubt. Louis is small, no 2 ways about it. He is likely a sub package lb in nickel packages or specialized WLB. Be fine ST gunner to start for sure. 6 foot flat and 220lb is pushing it for a starting LB. At 10 to 20lbs less than the other LBs he'd better be closer to the top in most timed drills. He's gonna be challenged when some of the wrs in the class can matchup bigger stronger faster, much less TE in the run game.  Yeah instinct matter and he has them, but that size is a massive red flag compared to many of the other LBS in this class.    Rodriguez is the LB that really climbed this week from a pure grit guy to great flash with athleticism people wrote off cause he was a QB at first at UVA. 18.4mph in the backpedal. Production the last 2 years were great. I'd be thrilled with him as the future mike.   Hill likely moved out of 51 and into the top 45 picks ( Ravens at 45 I can't imagine don't bite if he makes it there). Honestly Hill imo is a 1st rounder and I'd be ok with him as he fits the MLB we have missed the last few years. People would crow it's a reach but he's top 30 all-time I'm RAS for a LB at 9.9+ . Plus he was big time in big games when he was healthy. And that br a big check: meds.
    • Miller, Melo, Coby, Moose, and Bridges all on the floor at the same time must be a nightmare for defenses lol. Switch one out for Kon and still a nightmare. Coby really does bring a true 6th man value and looks like he could start if Melo was out after only a few games of getting his feet wet.
