I can tell that Chargers Division dude is an idiot. I understand that it's the smack forum.....but I don't know how you can even say Kobe is better than Jordan. And he clearly learns everything about the Panthers from ESPN (which shouldn't be a huge surprise anyways). But it still doesn't mean anything since we don't play them this year, and it's one dumb chargers fan's opinion.

True it is just one, but he tells a friend who tells a couple friends, so on and so on and before you know it, there are a mass of dumb Chargers fans. He should be corrected where he stands damn it.

I live in San Diego and work with many hardcore Chargers fans.

On average they don't know the first thing about our team or our strengths and weaknesses and whenever I bring up the '08 game it just gets brushed off.

I mean, I don't think they are any worse than other teams' fans. They certainly aren't as annoying as Philly/Dallas/Pats fans.

I was at that game, the fans were respectful FTMP.

I'm that Charger fan. I like the Panthers and about 85% of the stuff I said I don't truly believe.

However you have to understand the premise. This Panthers fan comes to the Donkey's board and tries to smack SD fans talking about how Carolina is more talented than SD, better and literally every position, how Carolina is better and will have a better record.

It really got old, so he was countered with his own senseless logic and exaggerated brand of smack.

Fairness to the guy, he seems to not being intentionally talking smack or being offensive. He just really believes what he is typing.

For the record I have on many occasions on other sites, whether you agree with it or not, called Steve Smith the best WR in the game, TODAY.

I don't watch much of the Panthers. But I watch enough to have a accurate assessment of them. That assessment he posted, I did say. But is not my accurate assessment of them. Though I do truly believe Moore and Clausen have potential journeymen written all over them. We'll see though. Alot of QB's have good 4 to 6 game runs, then defenses get more footage on them, they assess their weaknesses and strengths better and then those QB's fail to make the appropriate adjustments.

I do like your LB's alot. Beaston is sick.

I think your D-line is average now.

I think your o-line is generally bad.

I think your RB's are beast and are the best duo in the NFL.

So really outside of my QB, d-line and o-line comments. Everything else was heavily exaggerated and a flat out lie to get this guy to retreat with his blind statements.

For your d-line I will say I like Everette alot and Brayton is above avg. Your DE spot is good. Do not like your DT depth at all though.

I do think your o-line at LT, RT and LG is very good run blocking. But as a unit I think they struggle in pass protection more than you think.

Your WR depth behind Smith is bad. Don't think much of your TE's, outside Rosario's potential.

Aside from your opinion on our offensive line's pass protection, I'd say you're views aren't all that dissimilar from many Panthers fans (though we're hoping either Moore or Clausen turn out to be the franchise quarterback of the future).

I can see how you'd get annoyed by a Panthers fan trash-talking the Chargers, and on a Broncos board of all places.

I don't see how the O-line is generally bad. I can see how people might think they are better in pass protection than they really are because their run blocking may cover up their shortcomings in pass protection.

They had some bad games in pass protection but I'm not sure how much of that was Jake during his horrible downfall.

Still they're pretty good. A top 10 line at minimum.
