Mitchell native Mike Miller intends to sign a five-year, $30 million deal with the Miami Heat, sources told KSFY late Thursday night.

Earlier in the night, LeBron James announced his intention to sign with Miami, joining Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade with the Heat.

Miller spent last season with the Washington Wizards.

Miller just tarnished his legacy.

Pat Riley is putting in work right now

I'm pretty sure at this point I could do Pat Riley's job. All it took was Wade to say he is staying in Miami for the other 2 to follow. Now you just have to find players without jobs and tell them, "Hey do you want to play with 3 stars and try to win a championship or 2"

If the Bobcats had the money there is no doubt in my mind that MJ could have pulled off the same deal.

why does a bobcats faithful love lbj so much? Its like panthers fans loving tom brady. If you like lbj, pull for the heat kt.

Funny you mention Brady, kt has said before that Brady is his favorite qb (if not his favorite player)

    • I haven't been able to watch Seattle on a dedicated basis but the Seahawks are a much better team by the all accounts: eye test, record and DVOA. Defensively they are sick. Best DVOA in the league first in rushing and second in passing. Offensively their passing game has been on fire this year led by JSN I can easily see this being like the Buffalo game where things just get out of hand for us early, that being said this league really is week to week and Seattle does have the disadvantage of traveling cross country for an early game.  If and big if, the Panthers are able to effectively run the ball and limit the amount of time Seattle's offense has to generate explosive plays we have a path to winning this game.  Seattle fans won't be happy to hear this but bad Darnold is always lurking in the background. He is truly an enigma to root for bc he will have an incredible throw that only a few people can make but then will turn around and throw the most bone headed pick of all time.  I think ultimately we drop this one as ultimately it's human nature to be looking forward to that week 18 game. But man how special would it be to be leaving the stadium on Sunday with a win and a miracle dolphins upset
    • Wouldn’t that be something. However, I don’t think anyone is overlooking us right now. (It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to say that. Feels good)
    • You making fun of or not realizing how important that actually is leads me to believe you don’t have either of those assets and are subconsciously upset about it, or you’ve never been in a position to be a leader and thus you don’t value good leadership which Bryce oozes with.
