Bobcats sign TT to long term deal!!

Recommended Posts

The same site thinks we will offer Scola a contract as well, I dont know if we can now that we signed TT but if we can get both, it will be HUGE.

. Luis Scola (restricted, not signed): About to get an offer from the Charlotte Bobcats. The New Jersey Nets are talking to him and may make an offer. The Rockets can match any offer, but they also are very willing to use him as part of any sign-and-trade.

Regardless, I stoked we were able to keep TT!!

i like this move. We need to upgrade C/PG. Mainly pg..how would we go about doing that..idk.

We had to keep him, giving up a first for a guy for a few months would have been terrible.

We hopefully can get a vet pg, but I think what I have seen from Collins in the summer league. I bet he makes the team.

Awesome. Now I'm thinking though, how do we not start him after that contract?

We need to trade Diaw for something because I doubt he'll be happy coming off the bench (which would be kind of nice, he can backup PF and SF depending on our match ups).

Yea, TT probably needs to start but I dont know what he could get for Boris. At least we did something good this offseason.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
