When was that posted? I don't see that in the most recent thread. Us not having a starter at a position if part three goes down seems to make a ton of sense though: we're giving up one of Augustin/Dampier in part three and not getting their replacement until part four.

Those were posted earlier today in the morning... then you can check the other two threads and they have updated info in them.

Don't forget that, like Lebron and Dwade, CP3 and Carmelo want to play together also...

You mean the New York Post, that bastion of unbiased fair reporting, said they did. When has 'Melo given any indication that he wants to play anywhere other than Denver? And Chris Paul just wants to go where he can win.

If this doesn't happen, and it turns out to be completely false.

I will wish harm to those who made up this rumor.

I told myself not to get emotionally involved..... but it happen.

To be fair, they've said they'll reveal exactly what their sources have told them in the case that the deal falls apart. If the whole thing is false, they've been given faulty information too.

I’m deeply regretting I ever posted my email address here this week.

To those of you (and you know who you are) that have offered words of support the past 3 days in all of this thanks.

To those of you (and you also know who you are) that have sent me nasty emails and nastier FB message – thanks even more.

For the record, while my wife was helping me to the bathroom a few minutes after my last post I got a sharp stab in my back and down my leg. That’s the last thing I remember. I woke up a few minutes ago on the mattress we keep on the living room floor for me to lie on and my wife (God bless the day I met her) rubbing my legs and crying not sure whethre to call an ambulance or let me rest. I get her reassurred, get still more oxicontin and vicodin in me, and prop up to see if I have any new news only to be greeted by crap and garbage. I now no longer give a damn. This ain’t worth it.

It hasn’t been bs, not from word one. It ain’t happened and I’m beyond caring if it does. Have a nice day. You jaggoffs that think sending crap emails is fun had your laughs. When this happens or doesn’t you can apologize or burn and flame me some more. If you have a pair send me your REAL address and we’ll see how long it takes for me to come on by, climb out of my wheelchair and cave your asses in for you.

Hey guys? Love ya like brothers, but I didn’t sign on for this garbage. See you when it dies down and you decent people are still here. MOst of you refulars know how to find me until then.

I’m out.

Last thing from OurDay

Calm before the storm?

Quite possibly. Most of the owners and GMs are in Vegas, so if nothing happens by 9, then this will cary on through tomorrow. James and Ourday have said they'll tell us if the deal falls apart.

OurDay is not posting anymore because he has been sent hate mail and James is going to go work out but he said if any news pops up he will send it.

No joke

I have heard three guys mentioned that the Bobcats are trying to get. However, Crash, Diaw and Dampier are being offered.

The three guys are Melo, Roy, and CP3.

Augustin's arse better be out the door.

    • okay I found this and it sounds like my hopes for the first surgery being not such a great job seems like it could be actual reality.  I only hoped because that would give a better chance for recovery and ia a possible scenario so I just thought it could be possible. Had no real evidence of it. But I’ll be damned.    This is a detailed report of Brooks’ surgery and the condition of his knee after the failed repair.     https://x.com/jmthrivept/status/2055743129408704806?s= Sparked by some very good questions by @CoachspeakIndex, here’s some info on Jonathon Brooks: 1. Speculation that the first graft/ACLR by Dr. Cooper didn’t “take” or at least was too lax, leading to failure and re-tear. Brooks dealt with issues cutting, progressing in his rehab into the early stages of 2024 and then re-tore it late 2024, requiring a second ACLR in January 2025 (essentially revision). Notably, CAR prolonged Brooks’ rehab process through Sept-Oct due to issues progressing into the next stages of rehab. 2. Second surgery performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who has extensive experience with revisions. He did a double bundle technique, harvesting graft from Brooks’ left patellar tendon and a strip of his right IT Band (his right patellar tendon had been utilized for the prior graft in 2023. The double bundle technique significantly increases rotational stability of the knee, leading to a stronger and more secure graft/reconstruction. Also to note, Brooks’ surgery wasn’t significantly delayed, meaning that the tunnels from his prior ACLR were in good shape and they didn’t need to perform bone grafts to fill in (would have delayed 2nd surgery by 5-6 months). Essentially, reading the tea leaves tells me that everything else except for the graft itself was still in good quality within his knee. Good sign for future.  3. Typically, you see a performance increase anywhere from 16-20 months post-revision. Brooks will be ~21 months out from his second surgery by the time Week 1 hits. His knee should be more stable and stronger this time around, with adequate time for healing and return to all movement patterns. I’m not viewing this situation as a typical “Player __ had TWO ACL tears, he’s cooked” situation. Rather, I’m viewing it as the first procedure failed, but the second procedure is significantly stronger and should allow him to return to form this time around. I don’t know why it posted as a link but there it is.
    • Jackie, any more reps tomorrow, or is that it for this session?  thanks for the work
    • How can you say they aren’t trying to win now with all the moves made in free agency? Or is trading first round picks the only way to be win now? I’d be fine never trading another first round pick again, win now be damned.
