I wish the League would step up and get rid of this clown.

Goodell continues to do things the players and it's fans don't want, all for the sake of making a name for himself.

I hate that man.

I hate him so very much.

To the topic at hand.

A Super Bowl, in February, in England?

They've refused to do a Super Bowl in Charlotte because of the cold weather, but they wanna step it up to England?

Not to mention..if a team does end up across the pond..

How would that be fair to visiting teams to travel that far?

The games at Wembley are already some of the ugliest games to watch all season, but 8 different teams having to travel over there 8 weeks outta the year?

I just wish Goodell would go away.

Bring back Tagliabue.

The NFL is a business. For a business not to explore opportunities overseas is foolish. Hard to fault the "CEO" of the NFL for that honestly whether it is popular here or not.

It's an American sport. It's America's new past time. Exhibition games I can live with, but anything more is foolish.

The NFL is a business. For a business not to explore opportunities overseas is foolish. Hard to fault the "CEO" of the NFL for that honestly whether it is popular here or not.

And if the quality of your business goes down, you lose customers, additionally, if you displease your employees and customers by consistently making moves that are only financial without any regard for the desires of your employees and customers, you lose business.

It would be a short term fix.

The NFL's income would boost temporarily..until people realize the game is a shell of what it once was and start losing interest.

NFL in Europe=Soccer in America. Just not gonna take off. NFLE part two would implode the whole league. The culture there is not directed towards raising football players into star athletes. The only way it could work would be two merge both afc and NFC into one conference, and deploy a 30 something team conference in Europe, championship face off. It doesn't make any sense. And Europe would have to agree to uprooting their heritage in favor of a sport that most of them see as way inferior to Futbol anyhow.

Didn't think so and neither would anyone else.

That's not even relatively close to what I said.

I'm saying that if the game continues to be watered down, and is "expanded" in areas (areas doesn't necessarily mean location, this latest stunt is just another in a long line of Goodell's failures) that it shouldn't, that the game is going to become less and less interesting-meaning, that in the future-there are going to be less and less fans.

Meaning less money for Greedy Goodell.

Just like any other business, sustainable growth is what it is all about. A company has to continue to grow. The growth potential in the US has to be limited especially with football since it is already immensely popular. All other sports (and businesses) do it, and football should as well. I am not saying I like it anymore than you do, but I will go back to my original statement that not exploring an overseas marketplace would be foolish.

      Holy poo, App State is 5-7 and in a bowl game. LOL! The dozens in attendance look thrilled to be there. Attendance is so light half the players' parents didn't even bother.

      I have said that about Morgan in his playing days looking at facing Bryce, he would be licking his chops. To present a case for Dan having some sanity. I mean no way a real player would fear him, right? But I am not sure any more.

      Bryce missed a number of opportunities yesterday. There were guys open but he had either already moved on from them or never even got to them in the progression. He doesn't have a guy right now that he trusts. It was TMac earlier in the season, but he and TMac are not on the same page all the time, and Coker is actually the best WR on the team right now. I know that hurts some feelings, but it's true. The oline got their lunch money taken all day. It was really bad. In both the run game and the pass game. You could see when the QB lost all confidence in them and that mental clock started to shorten. But as a QB you have to push through that and stand in the pocket, go through your progressions, and deliver an accurate ball on time.  But yeah, my biggest take away is that this offense lacks speed and a true playmaker. A couple of solid guys but no true playmaker. As much as BY checked down to RBs, they couldn't make a guy miss in one one opportunities. And they weren't even LBs. They were DBs. You have to make that guy miss.  If they're serious about winning right now and not about player development, then Jimmy Horn needs to take XLs snaps. They only put him in to influence the deep safety with fly routes - XL can do that. Jimmy can run a lot more of the route tree than XL right now. Also Etienne needs to play more snaps. If BY is gonna be a checkdown king, then they need someone that can actually do something with the ball in space. Interior oline is weak. They aren't very consistent getting to the second level. Outside runs are this team's bread and butter. Gotta embrace that.
