I feel Milton is a huge FA red flag.

Terrible run defender. Had a limited snap count with an awesome front 7.

And he’s about to be paid top dollar starter money to a team that’s not the Eagles.

I am starting to feel the same way.  Reminds me of Gerald McCoy.  I think his season here featured a third of his tackles were sacks (5 sacks, 15 unassisted tackles, 22 tackles).  He figured out how to get paid and he was going for the glory plays for a DL.  A DT averaging one tackle a game is going to make $20m because he gets 5 sacks in a season in which he averaged 1 tackle per game?

Everyone is saying that the Panthers will be one of the most active and aggressive teams in free agency.

so i expect a few big signings very early

I wouldn’t be surprised with Dre Greenlaw if they don’t think Trevon is ready.

Also think secondary could get +3 pretty quickly.

Being active and signing high priced FAs might be 2 different things. Willis said they want to have a team they could play with - before the draft. Thats another WR, TE and RB on offense. That's a DE. DT, CB, LB and 2 safeties. I expect them to sign all of that, maybe not all A or even B level, but enough to fill the roster.

Then they can draft BPA and look at positions and decide which is more important or gather even more picks.

I’d say the first thing we need at DT is someone that can maul the run game. Do you think he’s more of an occupy 2 guys/push the pocket types?  I watched less of other teams than ever this last year.
I’m fine with someone that frees Derrick Brown up to be the wrecking ball but that’s a lot of money…Whoever that is. OR If we take Graham at 8 that’s 2 number 8 picks at DT. Which I’m fine with but we sure as hell be way better in the run game and up the middle pressure

Thanks cheers!

So far they have the RB, DE, DT, LB and 1 safety, resigned their CB. I still expect a WR and/or TE and another CB. Then go into the draft in a good spot of not really needs but to strengthen.

    • Hes said many times hes a diehard Panther fan. Being a player he is going to be very pro player. I dong think its a conspiracy just someone close to the individuals
    • Cant take him seriously because he likes Bryce sounds about right for around here
    • OK, let me first say that I can't get any Twitter link to embed--using "X" or "Twitter" or whatever, and I'm tired of trying. Now, I must say that I see Panthers stuff in Facebook on occasion as I'm part of some group, but I see Panthers stuff even less on the cesspool that is now X, but as a follower of the official Panthers Twitter, stuff pops up on that feed too. I guess that I shouldn't be surprised that agents of the organization would be putting out tweets like this: He's not even trying to be objective. It stands to make sense though. In order to get better information, you have to go to national sources like Kurt Warner.  I'm not necessarily trying to pick on J-Stew, per se, but I can't take him seriously, as even some past Panthers players, like Greg Olsen for example, don't seem like they're just trying to cater to Panthers Nation, just saying hollow words to make everyone feel good.  I just wonder why here on the Carolina Huddle, there seems to be more objectivity, or at least more critical thinking and serious discussion than most other social media sources on the Panthers. It's interesting. There is a significant difference.  For all the changes and the seeming decline in popularity to whatever degree, the Carolina Huddle still has its place and plays a big part in overall Panthers fandom. We want to be happy, joyous and cheer for the Panthers, but we aren't necessarily trying to shoot sunshine up people's derrières either.
