Quick Question...

Lets say you own a deli.

When you opened the deli, you were already well known for your reuben sandwich. So, when it opened, to no surprise you had an excellent reuben that everyone enjoyed. But as the deli got busier and busier, you handed off the reuben to your head chef. Year after year the reuben got more and more sloppy. The bread was soggy. The kraut was rotten. But its till your reuben and your recipe. Its still what you are known for.

Would it make it hard for you to fire the head chef if it was your baby to begin with and your job to insure its quality?

Thanks in advance.

As a businessman, yes I would. Brand name is extremely important and people pay fortunes to keep their brand name at the top. People know me by my brand and If i'd fug it up my business my fold.

i would come into work and make the best sandwiches ever.. And then put them on a commercial showing how good they were.

Then i'd keep making the same sh*tty sandwiches in my store.

I think i'd call it... Subway.

I would add something else to the menu besides dropping back into a soft ass fuging zone every play, and trying to get pressure with your mediocre defensive line.

Oh wait, I mean, yeah....get rid of the chef, his sandwiches suck ass. Also, you can get rid of one of the pieces of bread.

    • The last 8 weeks, Nix had 2,022 yards, 21 TDs, 6 INTs on 70% completions While Bryce's last 8 games he had 1,709 yards, 12 TDs (albeit adding 5 more rushing), 3 INTs on 61% completions. I'm not going to pretend I watched those Broncos games to know exactly how Nix actually looked, but in retrospect, his statistics were better.  Hell, in just his final 8 games, Nix has only 5 less TD passes than Bryce has in his 30 game (28 starts) career. And you said he had better WRs than Bryce did, but I'm not even sure that's even true either. Sutton and Thielen might be completely different types of WRs, but I'd say they are pretty equal on effectiveness if not even a slight edge to Thielen (63.6 YPG for Sutton to 61.5 for Thielen).  Then XL and Coker vs Marvin Mims and Devaughn Vale, again, at worst a push, if not lean in our favor there too. Why is it so hard for some Panthers fans to just objectively look at our team/Bryce and be honest with themselves. ? He was significantly improved the final two months of the season from his first season and a half.  But he was still a below average QB during that time, even if he had a few good throws and clutch moments.
    • The Canes physically dominated 2 of the top 16 teams in the league this calendar month. If you truly believe Florida is just that much more physical than us, then what does that say about the rest of the league? Why didn't they go 82-0 this year, if they are orders of magnitude better than every other team?
