they aren't swanky, but i always enjoyed the places on the lake. midtown, rusty rudder and vinnies. hard to beat an evening on the patio by the lake IMO.

I ate at Nobles other restaurant Rooster something near the south park mall and it was really good to. That sucks. So far BLT looks like a winner.

I'd have to agree. I am am doing the anniversary thing Labor Day weekend and was going to do the Capital Grille (my favorite) but looking at the BLT Steakhouse has me thinking about changing. Wife hasn't been to either, anyone know how they compare?

None of these are to die for, but they make for a nice evening. I'd recommend taking her to Chicago for dinner.

- Brio is pretty good Italian in Southpark.

- Del Frisco (chain, but good)

- Global (was OK, did not live up to hype IMO)
