Laveranues Coles and Antonio Bryant have been cut

I would say Coles might be ideal at this point. But Bryant has knees problems right now. That's why he got cut. The Bengals would never of cut him for no reason. They just gave him a 4 year 28 million$ deal just this year. Bryant will not even be consider for this team. But again among these 2. Coles would have the grest chance of been signed. But with all these WRs we have right now. I don't see neither guy getting signed.:toetap05:

If Coles is done with the Jets, he's expected to retire. He has said many times that he has no interest in playing elsewhere.

"Once the buck stops here, I'm done," he said last week. "It started here, it's going to end here for me."

Really don't care for either at this point. Bryant has knee problems right now that is why he was released and coles is old. Neither of them would really make a big impact on this team until about halfway through the season anyway. Our chances are much better at just getting Steve,Jstewart, and Otah back and then hoping some of these rookies will step up. We should be fine.:dupe:

    • It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.
    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
