Giants are like any other team in preseason. They hardly game plan during preseason. We are talking about a Manning here you know. He might not be as good as Payton. But Eli is still a manning. Besides I'm sure the Giants will be looking at all of the Films from our preseason games and Studing them while game planning for us. I'm sure our Young D has their work cut out for them when we play the Giants in a few weeks.

Which is why we should start Clausen. He's a Clausen, damnit, he has pedigree!

      I think he's gone, and rightfully so, if he turns in another losing record. The "talented roster," regardless of how true or not, is a double-edged sword. If the roster is so much improved now from 202X then why are you still producing losing seasons? On one hand, maybe that's what needs to happen. Have the GM hire the new coach, and then have the new coach pick his guy to run his system. That is typically how it works in the NFL. Not the forced inheritance deal we have had in place.

      Hinging on Brooks to be our spark...be good if it happens... but not holding my breath....RB next draft. Morgan gambled...it would be a 2 year payoff if thing happened.

      Only way Canales is fired is if we are attrocious everywhere....  defense /special teams and offense..  There are enough "questions" on if BY9 is the guy that ownership wouldn't fire the coach for "just" mid qb play.  Especially with as talented a roster that has played "well enough" to win some tough football games and hang in there against the top tier of the NFL ...(mostly).   Now total team suckage..yeah .. but I don't see that happening.
