They are not included on the 45 man active day roster, but they are on the 53 man limit.

AE could be the emergency 3rd QB, while Pike or Cantwell to the PS...with the other being released.

Saves a slot on the 53 man roster...needed to possibly carry 6 WR's and a KO Specialist.

I would hope that we don't carry 6 wides when none of them can make a play. That would be insane, I would much rather keep 6 CB's (Gamble, Marshall, Capt, Wilson, Stanford, Witherspoon or McClain)or 5 DE's (Brayton, Johnson, Brown, Hardy, Moore)

Absolutely, considering Gamble, Munnerlyn and Witherspoon are experienced return guys.

They will have 6 WRs if they keep Trent Guy as a PR... otherwise, it's like I said the other day- the Panthers have their obvious #1 WR in Smith a bunch of #3s they can take their pick of to fill out the roster...

I'm gonna agree. I think they need to get that first score of the season outta the way. Even if its against 2's or 3's. Leave them in until they score, or until halftime. Otherwise we may see MM and the rest of the offense try to force things too much and be worse off for it.

Honestly, I think Moore has lost his chance for a TD this preseason. Now they're gonna throw Clausen in there for the majority of the game and when he does get a TD against Steelers 2's and 3's there's gonna be a poo storm of people crying for him to start.

Pickles looks half decent and the wailing increases....especially if moore sux for a couple series...

to me moore is a crunch time guy...he performs best under pressure, if pickles reaaally were close to taking the starter job, then I think moore would be playing with more fire... imho...
