Went to a cookout on Sunday.

Pulled up and there were 3 sets of cornhole boxes and about 20 people in the tourney. Our friend had her family down from NJ.

We basically drank far too much beer, threw far too many bean bags, all while 80's hair metal was blasting and several guys playing air guitar the entire time.

Just made me think of you for some reason.

Better than the party on Saturday you say??!!!!

That does sound like my kind of party. Oddly enough on Sunday evening I had some friends over and was in my backyard drinking beer and playing corn hole. I believe the radio was on mostly 106.5 or one of the hip hop stations so I was missing the 80's hair metal, however I did set up a TV outside with the NASCAR race so that is close.

    • One of the Carolina Panthers' newest defenders thinks their pass rush can go from worst to first. ESPN's David Newton recently chatted with outside linebacker Pat Jones II, who signed with the Panthers as a free agent earlier this offseason. Jones comes over from an awfully impressive Minnesota Vikings defense—one that ranked first in takeaways (33), fourth in sacks (49) and second in QB pressure rate (44.4 percent) this past season. And despite a historically-bad campaign by Carolina's defense in 2024, the 26-year-old seems to believe his new unit can be similar—or even better—than his last. "I definitely think we could do something similar, if not better," Jones said, via Newton. "I've seen it before, so I know what it looks like. I look around the building and see we have exactly what it takes to do that." https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/24/panthers-pat-jones-vikings-espn/83840667007/?taid=683219b347846900018fa10a&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter     It's the offseason.  Let hope spring eternal. (actually, I think we are much closer than this board thinks)
    • 5 total TDs against the Falcons was pretty good efficiency and he showed that ability to go off scripts and get 2 of those TDs rushing.  How many times did he deliver big time throws against pressure.  I agree we need to see this offense operate at high efficiency which starts with Bryce. When he does I hope the goals posts won’t shift to some other stat like QB sneaks lol
