Fellow Tampa fan with some questions

@Bigdog

Our primary back is still Carnell Williams and it looks like he will be getting 80 percent of the carries here on out as he is a rythem back that gets better as the game goes on. He's not fast he's not huge/strong but has a very nice burst through the hole and has great vision. Basically he is a tough runner who can get to the holes quickly but not much after that.

The weakest part of our defense according to last week were our ends. They were constantly getting blown up on the outside with run plays against the strong Tackles of the Browns, also they were not taking full advantage of the great preasure by Price/McCoy/Miller on the inside.

Freeman is either on or off on the deepball and it is evident by last weeks game, he had Mike Williams wide open down the field but overthrew him but a couple of plays later he comes back and throws a sexy 40 yard ball to Spurlock hitting him right in the hands for the game winning touchdown. Some of this could be attributed to his broken finger but last year he did have some missed deep balls, but that's not to say he isn't a threat downfield.

Good stuff man, Ed Johnson and Lenoard must not have played horrible because you guys did fairly good against the run.

the 1st half stats were ridiculous the giants were going negative constantly but they were trying to beat us to the edge and you just can't do that in meeks scheme. Once they started going between they tackles and they used jacobs more they did better. The offense really screwed the pooch as well in the 2nd half.

I am trying to build my football knowledge so I can have a better understanding of how my team should play against it's opponets. Also I like to hear the other teams opinion about their team and how they feel they stack up.

that's excellent I did that with the giants. Even though we as fans are going to be biased we are WAY more informed about the team than most national writers. Sports journalism sucks in the days of the internet. Anybody can be a writer now. HoF players are gods on the turf but sometimes they can't help but spew diarrhea.

FWIW, Captain was beat on the 2nd quarter endzone ball to Nicks because of his footwork. He was in position to cover that ball, but got caught flat-footed/slipping when the ball was delivered and the short delivery made him pay. Looked terrible, but he was right there and should have been able to make a play on the ball. That will be a good lesson on the game tape. He's still developing in just his second year.

On the highlights I just saw him getting owned after owned after owned. But players all have bad games, so did our great saftey Tanard Jackson last week. Captain will be a good player and will learn from his mistakes.

That and Captain has no business being on an island with Nicks, that's a big-time mismatch and it showed.

I love me some Capt. and he's exceeded expectations but that's a mismatch the Giants were looking to exploit.

hey bucs fan, you remember when the eagles traded their star qb for a 2nd round pick? We have a star qb here who is having a rough start, I was proposing a trade between our teams.....we give you matt moore in a trade for a warm handshake and some of those buc cheerleader calendars.....what do you say? Do we have a deal?

Who is the primary back in Tampa now?

Caddilac Williams is the primary runner.

What do you consider the weakest link of your defense, (line, backers, or secondary)? It has to be the edge rushers. They are not horrible, and they did get ample pressures last week, but we have been lacking a playmaking DE who can finish the deal and sack a freaking QB ever since Simeon Rice retired.

Is Freeman an accurate deep ball passer? Which day of the week is it? I've seen him over 9 games last year, and in a few practices at training camp. He is a 50% passer some days and a 75% passer other days. He is consistantly inconsistant, so to speak.

"Our season is over. When Matt Moore got hit and went out of the game with the concussion,the medical staff gave him smelling salts and asked him his name, and he said Jake Delhomme."-Catdaddy
