don't expect much from Clausen... I have high hope but he is a rookie and he has a tendency to throw high. If all his throws are as crisp as most of those today though he could be great.

he needs to not stare down his receivers though.

moore is proving that he can't cut it as the starter, on clausen's drive he threw to the rb's out of the backfield a play that's been there all day long the last two weeks. it might not get you big plays all the time but i will take the 7 to 8 yds that goodson seems to get every time he touches the ball instead of forcing it to smith all the time. as far as starting clausen to early, if he's not tough enough to handle the pressure now, THEN HE IS NOT THE FRANCHISE QB THAT MANY THINK HE IS

Our season is most likely over but at least we can have some hope in winning a game with Clausen. Matt Moore has been continuously exposed for what he is... A high school QB that found luck to get on an NFL field. You wont hear anything about him after this season

Clausen threw a pick trying to get it to Goodson seven yards away. To hail him as clearly better than Moore at this point is absurd. Right now, they both look like garbage.

Fox might have realized he rushed Moore along after the concussion and decided he needed to sit. Or since Fox never really liked Moore that much, he was on a short leash and has decided to start Clausen from here on out. Who knows. All i know is that I didnt see any difference between the two.

idk about clausen era, did anybody notice how ugly and off target his passes were? not that moore's were any better but damn, clausen threw some ducks

Clausen did throw that one ball high, but most of his other throws were nice. I would have liked to have seen him take more shots down the field though.

That INT is only partially on him; tipped balls suck.

The difference to me is that Moore never at any point during this season or the preseason has looked comfortable as the starter. He honestly looks like he doesn't want to be out there. At least Clausen looks comfortable back there.

I mean, it's hard to expect the world of him....he is a rookie QB. And it doesn't look like he has the running game to lean on or Steve Smith to throw to. I just think we need to give him and chance because any hope of this being a successful season is fading quickly.

Isn't this season starting to pretty much look like a worst case scenario, however? I say just keep Clausen in and let him get some burn. Nothing Matt Moore does even resembles a successful starting QB. Rebuilding is here, let's just accept it and move on.

I hope and pray Steve Smith gets traded so he can experience actually having a decent QB throw to him in his career.

Yeah lets turn the kid into the David Carr.
