What I want to see from our OC next sunday.

With starting Jimmy Clausen we need to change a few things around to give him a chance to win with the Bengals.

#1 The Screen Pass. We need to start using the screen with Goodson,Williams,Smith, and Stewart. Every DC in the league knows our Oline is not great and we have a young QB. The are going to blitz the crap out of us till we can stop it. Ask how? The Screen Pass...

#2 If we can get the Screen pass to work we need to establish the Run. There is nothing better for a young QB then a run game.

#3 We need to feed the Beast.... Yup find a way to get it into Smiths Hands. It might take some work but if Smith dose well our young WRs will also.

#4 Use Rasario, and King as much as possible. We will prob need them in the Passing game and in max protect as much as possible.

#5 LaFell get well soon... We need that big body out there since we for some reason dont like Jarrett.

If we can execute in that order we should be alright. If we go out there with the same old stuff as last week. Well lets just say Payton Manning could not save us....

Sounds similar to what we've been trying to do in the first two weeks, just didn't work out...

We have only run one screen in the season and that went for big yardage. I guess they figured out it worked so they decided to never use it again.

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
