Doesn't it ever gget old?

All the trade talk. Not a single week goes by without someone talking trade.

Doesn't it ever get old sounding like an idiot?

This isn't madden football. Ya don't trade away your best player who also wants to be a panther for life.

Get away from the video game, pull yourself out of GM/owner fantasy land, and come back to earth.

I agree...reading this trade talk is getting boring. Not like its going to actually happen. Need some new topics to talk about. something random like:

Since smitty and ochocinco used to be friends, smith might know his moves...also we know Gamble and Marshall isn't quick enough to keep up with ochocinco. What if smitty was to be a db...hell all smith have to do is hit 81 at the line like he do dbs.

Do what you feel like is right, but the truth is the truth,he has lost a step.Plus where is the guy with the stick, someone called me gay, thought you can't do that on here!

Know the difference between trolling and an opinion. You were making fun of his height. No Panthers fan does that. I don't know where you came from, but if you want to keep posting here, you better learn how to act.

Why? I actually think it would be a good idea. We are rebuilding and Smitty does deserve a chance to win a ring. I see no problem with trading him. Dont be selfish he has earned the right to be traded if he wants.

Way to speak the truth against pressure Squirrel. I agree. Smith is by far my favorite player on the Panthers and it's because he is, that I wouldn't mind him getting traded if indeed we plan on rebuilding the team for the next 2 years.

It's a valid question. A lot of fans are just too selfish to understand that.

This man has had to play without a passing offense for way too long even though the constant double coverage he's gotten over the years is probably partly the reason that's made him so damn good. But I would like for him to have another shot at a Superbowl, even if it means not with the Panthers.

Though naturally, that would be the best option.:D

    • I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
    • Easy to understand Pickett, if this is anywhere close to on point. Canales wants to get as close to Bryce as he can- get the pace and timing in the throws as close a he can to Bryce. So the other players don’t have to adjust so much, to a new guy.       If Cam was the 1, he would look for a rocket arm.  But Bryce is the 1. Look for limited in the same way.  Low velocity, plenty of air under it, feels just like home when Picket comes in. And you have the guys on the second team not having such a radical adjustment (if they have to play) like with Dalton to Bryce.    Enter Grier. I guess we will collect those types.
    • Best part is if we draft him, we can also use him as our fourth and one QB sneaker
